Together for Haiti: Working Toward A Better Future
We believe that Haiti’s future can be better than today. However, it will take hard work and significant investment. It will require all of us doing our part. We have several ongoing projects as well as projects that are currently in the planning stages. All of these projects will help us Work Together Towards a Better Future for Haiti.

We believe that quality education is one of the most powerful resources a person can have. For generations, education in Haiti has suffered the issues of underfunding and neglect. Even in this modern era of education and technology, Haiti lags behind other developing countries.
Throughout Haiti, education is not affordable, it is not a priority, and it is not quality. But things do not have to be this way. With the support of our partners, we are making a difference in 4 communities through 4 schools. In these communities, we provide a quality, affordable education and are working to make it a priority for all families.
Guibert: Guibert is a farming village nestled amongst the mountains in the Ouest region of Haiti. The mountainsides are filled with gardens that both feed the families and fill the marketplaces. The school services Pre-K through 9th grade, with a current enrollment of 420 students.
Ferrier: Ferrier is a small, remote village that sits in the North-East region of Haiti near the border of the Dominican Republic. It is an incredibly dry and arid region where life is difficult. The school services Pre-K through 6th grade, with a current enrollment of 330 students. In the Fall of 2019, a new secondary school will open adding classes for 7th – 9th grade.
Marhothiere: Marothiere is also a farming village nestled amongst the mountains of the Ouest region of Haiti. It is more remote than Guibert but is also filled with lush gardens during the rainy season. The school services Pre-K through 6th grade, with a current enrollment of 260 students.
Drouin: Drouin is a remote ,rural village that sits in the Artibonite region of Haiti along the Artibonite River. The primary source of income for those living in Drouin is rice farming, which is financially insufficient. Recent agriculture development projects have made a significant impact on families in the community with a noticeable increase in health, nutrition, and income. The school services Pre-K through 6th grade, with a current enrollment of 345 students.
There is still work to be done. We want to create as many opportunities as we can in each one of these communities. Support for our Educational Development initiative will help us to continue to provide a quality, affordable education while working to improve and grow for the future.

Empowered Pastors = Equipped Churches = Bold Faith = Changed Communities
We believe that the best way to impact a community is to invest in local leaders. We believe that local pastors are the best leaders to invest in, who will in turn directly invest in their churches and their communities. Through church planting efforts and annual training conferences, Together for Haiti is directly connected to a network of 10 local churches in Haiti and partners with a larger network of over 50 churches spread throughout the country.
By providing training and resources, our objective is to help empower these pastors and other church leaders to be agents of positive spiritual and social change in their communities.
Support for our Spiritual Development initiative will help us to continue to provide training and resources for pastors and leaders while seeking opportunities to invest in new churches and additional communities.
Here’s how you can support:
$25 provides study materials and continuing education resources for 1 pastor
$25 provides a 4-day training conference for 1 pastor
$400 a month provides staffing, resources and support for 1 local church
We work to provide the training, tools, and resources necessary to restore dignity and opportunity in order to help the Haitian people thrive. This means investing in life-giving and life-sustaining projects in the communities we serve.
Haiti is still an agriculture based society and the majority of families and communities survive on what they grow. We invest in community projects that support and provide sustainable agriculture, job creation, balanced nutrition, and clean water.
Support for our Economic Development and Physical Development initiatives will help us to continue to invest in community based projects that bring income, opportunity, and long-term sustainability to families and communities.

Good nutrition is critical to the growth and development of children all over the world. For many children in Haiti, consistent, balanced nutrition is a daily challenge. We are working on several approaches to remedy this from agricultural development to nutritional education.
At each of our four schools, we offer a free lunch program that provides a hot meal for every child in the school. This ensures that over 1400 children receive at least one hot, nutritious meal a day. This is accomplished in cooperation with support from several other US-based organizations. Through food purchased in local markets to prepackaged meals shipped from the US, we are able to to provide healthy meals to the children in our schools everyday.
As our schools grow, the need to provide meals grows with it. You can help us provide these nutritious meals for only $0.50 per child per day.
Here is how you can support:
$ $10 feeds 1 child for 20 school days
$20 feeds 1 child for over a month of school days
$100 feeds 1 child for an entire school year
